President/Owner – Steve Black
Steve Black has been an avid hockey fan for over 20 years as both of his sons played growing up. In addition to owning the RiverWolves, Steve has owned the New Ulm Steel for the past four years. Steve has been married to his wife Becky for over 30 years. They have two sons, Bryant (Vice President of RiverWolves, General Manager of the Steel and Head Men’s Golf Coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato) and Bennett (Personal Trainer for Lifetime Fitness and Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at Minnesota State.)
When time permits, you can find Steve on the golf course with his family or at the hockey rink cheering on the RiverWolves and Steel.

Executive Vice President/Owner – Duncan Woodhull
Duncan Woodhull has been involved in the hockey world for over 50 years. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he started playing at the age of five and spent many winter days and nights hanging out at the local rink. He played high school hockey for coach Dave Peterson, who later went in to coach the 1988 and 1992 U.S. Men’s Olympic Hockey teams. Although Duncan’s playing career ended after high school, his passion for the game continued as an avid fan at the University of Minnesota Duluth where his Bulldogs made two NCAA Frozen Four appearances. Duncan’s son and daughter both played youth hockey and Duncan was active in the local community organization as a parent, coach and board member. He’s been an active volunteer with the NA3HL New Ulm Steel for the last four years ans is looking forward to this new venture with the Wausau RiverWolves!
Duncan is a Business Development Manager for Allegis Corporation where he has worked for the last 29 years. He and his wife Teri have two adult children, Alex and Amanda, (and a golden retriever named Bailey!)
Business Manager – Zach Serwe
Zach Serwe joins the Wausau RiverWolves as their Business Manager after previously working in the United States Hockey League with the Madison Capitols as Director of Sales. Serwe started as an Account Executive during the Capitols Inaugural Season in October of 2014 and was promoted to his Director of Sales role in January of 2016. Serwe lead the effort which saw the Capitols increase sales revenues by over 60%. Prior to working with the Capitols, Zach was the Group Sales Manager for the Green Bay Bullfrogs of the Northwoods League. Zach completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management in December of 2012 from UW-Parkside in Kenosha, WI. Serwe is originally from Brownsville, WI.
