(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves host the Breezy Point North Stars Friday and Saturday night at Marathon Park Ice Arena. Breezy Point swept Wausau back on October 4th and 5th in Minnesota by a score of 3-5 and 1-5. Heading into Friday night’s contest Wausau holds a 3-16-1-0 record, while Breezy Point has a  4-16-1-0 record this season.

What to Watch For

Wausau will be seeking to break up a current five game skid.  RiverWolves forward Kasey Couture has taken over the title as top point scorer for the team with 19. Couture is currently on a seven game point streak for Wausau.

The North Stars  are led by forward Mario Maietta and Jordan Linder who have 19 total points a piece. The North Stars are coming off an upset win versus the New Ulm Steel in OT last Saturday Night.

In the Crease

Joseph La Forge, native of Kenosha, Wisconsin is expected to start in net for the RiverWolves.  He currently holds a 1-3 record with a goals against average of 7.57.  His save percentage is at .865.

The North Stars  are expected to have Griffin Foster start in net.  His record for the season is 1-11-0-0 and his save percentage is at .867.  His goals against average is at 7.09. Foster took the loss last Friday night to Alexandria after allowing 6 goals in 24 minutes of action.
